The cell “Bimala Prasad Chaliha College Rover Crew and Ranger Team†has passed a glorious period of a few years since 2010. Currently, the club is supervised by two leaders, namely, Chiranjib Mili (Rover leader) and Inku Devi (Ranger leader). The club has been dedicated to developing physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens, and as members of local, national, and international communities among young people through the Bharat Scouts & Guides laws. Scouting/Guiding is based upon three broad principles which represent its fundamental laws and beliefs. They are referred to as: “Duty to Godâ€, “Duty to others†and “Duty to selfâ€.
Bharat Scouts & Guides laws:
1. A Guide is trustworthy.
2. A Guide is loyal.
3. A Guide is a friend to all and a sister to every other Guide.
4. A Guide is courteous.
5. A Guide is a friend to animals and loves nature.
6. A Guide is disciplined and helps protect public property.
7. A Guide is courageous.
8. A Guide is thrifty.
9. A Guide is pure in thought, word, and deed

The cell was actively involved in a cleanliness drive arranged during summer vacation at both the college campus and the adopted village.

The national flag was distributed by ‘Bimala Prasad Chaliha College Rover Crew and Ranger team at Daspara (Pijupara), an adopted village, in collaboration with 30 Assam N.C.C., B.P.Chaliha College, Nagarbera, Kamrup, Assam in connection with the celebration of “Azadika Amrit Mahotsavâ€.

The Investiture Ceremony for B.P. Chaliha College Ranger Team was held on 27th April 2022 at B.P.Chaliha College, Nagarbera. The event was led by the resource person Bijaya Deka, Ranger Leader, Amrit Prabha Ranger team, J.N. College, Boko. Hon’ble principal of B.P.Chaliha College Dr. B.B.Panda inaugurated the event.

The team was involved in the celebration of ‘Independent Day’ and helped out during the hosting of the National Flag with a parade.

The ' Earth Day’ was celebrated by a plantation program on the College campus. The program was inaugurated by Dr. B.B. Panda, Principal, B.P.Chaliha College. In the program, respected teachers from the different departments also participated and made it a great success for the event.
